Many of the basic predictions of the simplest inflationary models, e.g. a nearly scale-invariant power spectrum and small non-Gaussianity, have received tremendous support from observations. However, we are still quite far from conclusively affirming this most basic scenario as in fact describing our universe. In this workshop, we will divide our attention between discussing proposals for non-standard inflation and exploring ways of distinguishing between different models through late time effects and observables, such as μ-distortion and large-scale structure. We hope the workshop will provide participants an overview of these important topics as well as foster communication and collaboration between researchers in these closely related areas.
Participation in the workshop is by invitation only.
The workshop program is here.
The workshop takes place at CP3-Origins at the main campus of the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark. All the talks will be held in the CP3 meeting room. A map of the university indicating various locations can be found here.
There are direct trains from the Copenhagen airport to Odense train station. You can also stop first at the central train station in Copenhagen and then take the first train to Odense. With the fast direct train, the ride is about 90 minutes. From the railway station in Odense, you can take bus number 40, 41 or 42 labelled Universitetet that drives directly to the university.
All participants will stay at hotel Cabinn next to the train station. The bus stop to the university is right behind the hotel.
