Are CDMS and XENON both right about dark matter?

A new paper by Mads T. Frandsen et al (arXiv:1304.6066) was recently discussed on both physicsworld.com and in the Guardian.

The CDMS-II collaboration has reported the observation of 3 events in a Si detector (arXiv:1304.4279). The paper by Mads T. Frandsen et al examines in which models these events are consistent with being nuclear recoils due to scattering of dark matter particles.
