Intro to neutron star physics

I will review the basic concepts one has to consider when describing the microphysics in neutron stars. Due to the complex structure of these compact astrophysical objects it is often the case a crossing-border multidisciplinary approach is needed. I will briefly include some historical remarks,  phenomenology models, and observations of interest for these objects.
