Professor Ángeles Pérez-García from the University of Salamanca is visiting CP3 for the period April 24 to May 24.
Professor Pérez-García is interested in the nuclear astrophysics field and the modeling of microphysics relevant to astrophysical compact objects such as neutron stars. Equation of states, transport properties, cooling (exotic or not), neutrino physics are included in this wide field. In particular, she is interested in crossing boundaries to dark matter accretion and its possible characterization through accumulative consequences. She is also interested in extreme conditions inside neutron stars that can provide some hints of possible more exotic possibilities, such as for example probing the constancy of fundamental constants.
