Post-doc opportunity in lattice field theory at CP3-Origins & DIAS

We expect one postdoctoral opening in the area of Lattice Gauge Theory with emphasis on applications to Beyond Standard Model physics, collider phenomenology and conformal dynamics. Appointments will be made for a term of two years at a very competitive salary and are expected to start in the September 2013. The position will come with plenty of support for travel and computer equipment.

The prospective candidate will join the lattice group at CP³-Origins and the Danish Institute for Advanced Study, University of Southern Denmark. The position is funded by a Lundbeck Foundation Fellowship held by the lattice group leader Associate Professor Claudio Pica.

Currently, the faculty members in the lattice field theory group are: Associate Prof. Claudio Pica, Assistant Prof. Ari Hietanen and Prof. Francesco Sannino.

The Centre for Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology, dedicated to the understanding of the origins of bright and dark matter in the universe (CP3-Origins), is one of the new generation of centres of excellence chosen by the Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) to receive significant funding for the next several years. At present the Centre consists of 8 faculty members and several post-docs and PhD students in the areas of cosmology, particle physics phenomenology, beyond standard model physics, astroparticle physics, collider phenomenology (both SM and BSM), and lattice field theory.
