Mads T. Frandsen joins CP3-Origins

August 1, 2012 Mads Toudal Frandsen joined Portrait of Mads Toudal FrandsenCP3-Origins as Associate Professor.

Frandsen recently got a prestigious 2-year Sapere Aude Fellowship from the The Danish Councils for Independent Research. The first year he will be at CP3-Origins and the 2nd at Berkeley. After this he returns to a permanent associate professor position at CP3-Origins / SDU.

Frandsen’s research is on the origin of electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) and the nature of dark matter (DM). He mostly works on models of new strong dynamics, such as Technicolor, able to address these questions.

Frandsen got his PhD at the Niels Bohr Institute in 2009 supervised by Francesco Sannino. After this he has been a Post Doc at the University of Oxford.
