Gamma Ray Constraints on Flavor Violating Asymmetric Dark Matter

Models of flavor violating decaying asymmetric dark matter can produce charge asymmetric cosmic rays. Viable candidates are for instance represented by a bosonic asymmetric dark matter decaying into leptons of different flavor. Here we show that the FERMI data on the isotropic gamma ray background exclude such models, unless very conservative choices are adopted.
