Deadline: January 13, 2012, at noon.
The Centre for Particle Physics Phenomenology (CP3-Origins), a pillar of the newly established Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS) located in Odense, invites applications for two associate professor positions in particle physics phenomenology. CP3-Origins is part of the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark.
We are looking for outstanding young and competitive researchers who have already demonstrated their potential to excel in particle physics phenomenology as well as the ability to attract research grants. The ideal candidates should have experience in developing models for physics beyond the standard model and dark matter, be able to make quantitative predictions for collider experiments and cosmology, and/or to have made an impact on the phase diagram of strongly coupled theories.
