Danish researchers have delivered ground breaking research over the centuries. Among the most famous are Brahe, Bartholin, ‘Steno’, Oersted, and Bohr, whose scientific achievements reached far beyond national borders and made them internationally famous.
As part of a lecture series at Folkeuniversitetet Niels Kjær Nielsen will discuss the life and work of Tycho Brahe.
The lecture series provides insight into the famous researchers’ thinking, methods and results, but also in their lives with dreams and disappointments. Their efforts, spanning four hundred years, says while a piece of history of Denmark, lectures and talks about what place they took in the communities they lived in and whether the relay, they have brought on to their descendants.
