Denis Parganlija will give a talk with the title “Nature of light scalar mesons f0(600) and a0(980) from a linear sigma model with vector mesons”. Everybody is welcome to participate.
Abstract of the talk: “I present a two-flavour linear sigma model with global chiral symmetry and vector and axial-vector mesons. Results are shown for pion-pion scattering lengths and two-pion decay widths of the isoscalar meson. Thereby, two assumptions are tested: (i) scalar q-bar q mesons correspond to f0(600)/a0(980) and (ii) scalar q-bar q mesons correspond to f0(1370)/a0(1450). A detailed comparison with experimental data suggests the interpretation of the scalars above 1 GeV as q-bar q states.”
