The blog Resonaances reports that this picture was used in a talk by Amir Farbin (ATLAS) at a conference in Aspen.

Since many people noticed that the one in the picture is not actually a stop sign, here’s a modified version:

This is actually a fake stop, that is, in experimental language, a “false positive”. It is also possible to find a real stop (sign) close to CERN with Google Maps, but from the picture it is quite hard to understand that it is at CERN…
