We have just received the wonderful news that Thomas A. Ryttov, a former Ph.D. student of F. Sannino, has just been awarded the prestigious “Sapere Aude: Ung Eliteforsker” prize from the Danish National Science Foundation.

The prize is given each year to excellent researchers at the postdoctoral level. The prize includes a grant enabling him to realize extra ambitious goals and provides a clear sign of recognition. For a researcher of his age, Thomas has already had a significant impact in the scientific community with several well-known papers.

On the webpage one can soon find additional information about Thomas, his direction of research and a statement from the Danish National Science Foundation committee providing the reasons why he is given this award.

The award ceremony will take place in Ny Carlsberg Glyptoteket on January the 27th in Copenhagen.
