CP3-Origins is happy to honour the retirement of Niels Kjær Nielsen after a successful academic life by holding the N.K.Nielsen Fest.
N.K.Nielsen has written several well known papers in high energy physics and a famous one, with more than five hundreds citations, on An Unstable Yang-Mills Field Mode, which keeps being constantly cited in the literature. He has been an excellent teacher and has educated several generations of students at the University of Southern Denmark. His experience as a researcher and a teacher, as well as a colleague, is of inspiration to us all at the University.
The N.K.Nielsen Fest is held together with the 3rd Odense Winter School on Geometry and Theoretical Physics – look at the home page of the winter school for travel information, accommodation, etc.
