In the last few months, new scientists have been added as supporting scientists at CP3-Origins. Among these is Ulrik I Uggerhøj (Aaarhus University).

Ulrik I. Uggerhøj is interested in relativisticatomic physics, in particular strong field interactions where the field in the rest frame of the penetrating particle exceeds the QED critical field. This in a sense serves as a QED testbed for the gravitational analogue, Hawking radiation, but also finds applications in e.g. beamstrahlung in next generation linear colliders or plasma wakefields. Uggerhøj is the spokesman of the CERN collaboration NA63.
