Post-Doc position in lattice field theory at IMADA and CP3-Origins

The Lattice gauge theory group at CP3-Origins, Dept. of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites for applications for one postdoctoral research associate position in lattice gauge theory.

The latest starting date is September 1st, 2019. The appointment is initially for two years with a possible extension for a third year.

The position is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) through the Research Project grant ‘The muon g-2 beyond hadronic leading order’ held
by Associate Professor Michele Della Morte. Currently, the faculty members in the lattice field theory group are: Assistant Prof. John Bulava, Associate Prof. Michele Della Morte, Assistant Prof. Benjamin Jaeger, Prof. Claudio Pica, and Prof. Francesco Sannino.

Candidates should have a PhD title in Physics or Mathematics with experience in Quantum Field Theory, High Performance Computing and Monte Carlo Simulations.
The PhD title must have been obtained, at the earliest, 4 years before the deadline for application. This 4 years limit may be extended by the length of any maternity/paternity leave, military service, humanitarian aid, etc. completed during the period. In connection with maternity leave, the candidate will be able to
extend the 4 years by the actual leave period multiplied by 2.
