Colin Poole joins CP3-Origins

September 6, 2017

On September 1st, Colin Poole began his first post doc at CP3-Origins. He obtained his PhD from the University of Liverpool, supervised by Professor Ian Jack, where their primary research was based on better understanding the implications of gradient-flow equations associated with the a-theorem. This led to a number of results, including the consistency of such a gradient-flow equation for three-dimensional theories. He is currently working on the interplay between Feynman diagram topologies and scheme-independence of the corresponding beta function coefficients.
