In a new report published by NordForsk, an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers with the purpose of strengthening Nordic research, on the most cited new papers published, the University of Southern Denmark shares leading spot in physics with the Technical University of Denmark. When asked about it, Professor Martin S. Sloth attributed it to the strong international research environment at SDU, and our focus on solving the big problems of basic science.

There is announcement on it on the main SDU webpage here (in Danish), and the full report can be found here.
