A UV Complete Compositeness Scenario: LHC Constraints Meet The Lattice

We investigate the allowed parameter range of a concrete UV scenario of Higgs compositeness based on a SU(4) gauge group in the light of recent measurements at the LHC Run-1. This includes the most recent 125 GeV Higgs measurements and direct constraints from other exotic states predicted by the model. Particular emphasis is put on searches for other (charged) electroweak scalars. Including these, as well as constraints on other exotic states, we show that LHC measurements are not yet sensitive enough to significantly constrain the model’s low energy constants. Furthermore we demonstrate that lattice measurements can collapse the parameter space in the light of existing constraints with direct consequences for the expected LHC phenomenology.
