A fundamental theory of mass generation

CP3-Origins researcher Francesco Sannino, together with Alessandro Strumia (CERN and Pisa), Andrea Tesi (Chicago), and Elena Vigiani (Pisa) have developed new theories of fundamental partial compositeness which allow for mass generation for all elementary particles valid till Planck energies. Differently from the standard model Higgs the new dynamical theories predict a very large number of novel composite states to be discovered either at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN or future colliders.
