Atom imageThe discovery of gravitational waves by the LIGO collaboration is the latest in a chain of discoveries that includes the detection of dark energy, the COBE, WMAP and now Planck satellites’ historically accurate measurements of the cosmic microwave background, the discovery of the Higgs particle at CERN, and the final confirmation of dark matter through the Bullet Cluster collision. These discoveries have so far led to no less than three noble prizes within the last few years.

High schools can now book a scientist from CP3-Origins to give a lecture on the amazing discoveries and exciting time ahead for physicists in research and industry.
