On December 1, Heidi Rzehak started as an assistant professor at CP3-Origins.
Heidi earned her PhD from the Technical University of Munich in 2005 with a thesis on the subject of “Two-loop contributions in the supersymmetric Higgs sector” under the supervision of professors A. J. Buras (TUM) and W. Hollik (MPI). Since then, she has worked as a postdoc at the Paul Scherrer Institute from 2005-2008, at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Karlsruhe from 2008-2010, and at the University of Freiburg from 2010-2015 with a leave from 2011-2013 where she was part of the CERN theory group.
Her main research interest is the Higgs boson properties in the Standard Model and its extensions, such as the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), the Next-to MSSM, and Two-Higgs doublet models. She is also interested in beyond Standard Model physics in general, radiative corrections to mass spectra, cross sections and partial decay widths.
