Wilson’s renormalisation in the continuum – ideas and applications

The past decades have seen substantial progress in the application of Wilson’s ideas in modern continuum quantum field theory. In this talk, I review the basics of Wilson’s renormalisation group, and illustrate modern applications for a variety of strong coupling phenomena in quantum field theory and statistical physics.
