In this talk I will review the factorization of the QCD scattering amplitudes in the high energy limit. These amplitudes have a simple form but do not give a good approximation of the full result away from the exact limit, and thus are not useful for the LHC phenomenology. However approximate scattering amplitudes can be constructed which have the correct high energy behavior and better approximate the true amplitudes over all of the phase space.
