Aurora Meroni Awarded Best Thesis Prize at SISSA

Aurora Meroni at SISSAAurora Meroni has been awarded the Best Thesis Prize 2014 in Physics at SISSA for her PhD thesis which she defended in September 2013.

The Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) has since 2012 given three prizes for the best PhD thesis defended at SISSA in each of the fields Mathematics (in memory of Mr. Franco Lutman), Physics (in memory of Dr. Francesco Caracciolo), and Neuroscience.

Her PhD thesis in Astroparticle Physics was written under the supervision of  S. T. Petcov on The nature of massive neutrinos and Unified theories of flavour. Since then she has been in a Post-Doc position shared between LNF (Laboratori Nazioni di Frascati) and Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, before starting at CP3-Origins in September this year.
