Universal behaviour of non-minimal models of inflation

After a general introduction to non-minimal models of inflation I will discuss recent work with my PhD student Benjamin Mosk on (single field) inflationary attractor points in the limit of strong and in particular weak non-minimal coupling. For the interesting subset of models that yield Starobinsky-like behavior in the strong coupling limit I will  demonstrate that the weak coupling limit in fact reduces to chaotic inflation. To finish up I will stress the important difference between this chaotic attractor behaviour in the weak coupling limit and the Starobinsky attractor, before closing with some conclusions and remaining challenges.
