We expect 3 or more openings according to funding availability at the postdoctoral level in particle physics and cosmology with emphasis on conformal aspects of quantum field theories, beyond standard model physics, cosmology, astroparticle physics, collider phenomenology (both SM and BSM), and lattice field theory.
The successful candidates should have demonstrated exceptional potential to excel in scientific research and a strong publication record. The Centre for Particle Physics Phenomenology, dedicated to the understanding of the origins of bright and dark matter in the universe (CP3-Origins), is one of the new generation of centres of excellence chosen by the Danish National Research Foundation (DNRF) to receive significant funding for the next several years. The centre is the main column of the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS).
The CP3-Origins centre has access to significant supercomputer resources in Denmark and has a very strong network of international collaborators. The centre is a world leading institute for in models of composite dynamics, dynamical breaking of the electroweak symmetry, its phenomenological consequences for colliders and cosmology.
One postdoctoral position is funded by a Villum Foundation grant of Associate Prof. Mads T Frandsen. For this position the successful applicant must have attained the PhD degree within 3 years of the application date. In agreement with the grant, preference is given to the fields of hep-ph and astro-ph for this position.
